I haven't used this pot yet, but want to reassure buyers that it is very strong and has a wonderful, durable feel. It also feels very smooth rather than grainy; and the $53.00 pot I bought on Amazon arrived with no blemishes in texture, although there was a slightly imperfect lip/edge area on the pot rim under the lid in one spot. I am willing to live with slight imperfections to save money; and this one ought to cause no problems in the future and is barely noticeable. I'm sure i'll enjoy owing this pot. It is clearly high quality.
